Yes — Managed Margin doesn't sync with timesheet, HR, or payroll systems. A PM, project owner, Owner, or Admin records weekly actual hours manually, and that's what updates the project's margin figures.
Yes. Before sign-off it calculates margin in a proposed fixed price from your team and rates; during delivery it shows planned margin against what you've actually earned so far, including any shared costs you've configured.
Sales, Presales, and Viewer roles see margin percentages and status only — never dollar figures. Owners, Admins, the project owner, Finance, and PM roles see the financial detail their access permits.
